Edgar Valadez had always had an interest in the arts from a young age, but like most young children he dreamed of a blue collar stable job like any reasonable 3 year old. He aimed to be an optometrist or government health inspector. However as he aged, he developed a growing obsession books and stories then began to take an interest in creative fields. At age 16 he thought it would be fun to dabble in art a little bit and create a comic or two and began drawing in earnest.
Entering college under a Biology major with dreams of stable if uninteresting work, he made the wonderful error of taking a figure drawing class at age 20. He loved it so much he dedicated himself to studying art to his family's eternal worry and begrudging pride. Edgar has a personal interest in illustration and concept work, focusing on character and story development or environmental design. He is proficient in the usage of Photoshop, Corel Painter, and Clip Studio Paint. He also works in traditional mediums such as graphite and acrylic paint.
