Fun study I did off a photograph I took of a Nautilus at a local aquarium, they temporarily had a little exhibit there for them and they are hands down my favorite animals. Never liked my work with natural colors up to this point, so I painted it with bright unnatural colors in an attempt to force myself to think more with values and have fun. I was surprised how well the exercise worked, still my favorite piece.
